Welcome Friends
My Name is Gina, but Ginger is a name my grandmother gave me as a child,..Poetry is a Passion of Mine, it helps to relieve some of the stresses in life, I have one poem published through the International Library of Poetry, The book is called "Love and Laughter", and may even publish a Poetry book of my own one day.
Through Life experiences I have been through is where most of my poems arise from, others could be from a TV show or Movie I've watched or even a song I heard that stirred strong feelings inside me, and I put them in a poem, There a so many reason People write poems. Here on my site I will be showing a few of mine, Hope you enjoy!

***Coming Together***
An Angel lost in a world of disbelief
sitting silently, pondering in grief
seeing all the hurt and despair
wondering in all the world, if people really care.
Lost in the darkness as faith fades away
hoping that one day the Love will return and stay.
The twisting and turning of One broken heart
turns into many thats how it all starts.
Still sitting in the silence, waiting for the dawn of a new day,
and will keep hoping and waiting, that we all come together and pray.
We All need Love, Faith and Peace, and should stand as One
and the Wars to cease.
TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
I hear your voice and picture your face in my mind,
telling me you loved and touched me Oh so kind.
Now I'm wonderin' if I'll ever see you again, Remembering the good times, and the first time,The laughter and the cheer, all these things I hold dear.
All the photographs and letters are gone, but I still have the memories that nobody can pawn.
Nobody planned it, we just seemed to drift apart, We took a different road to make a New start.
I took to the bottle hard when I heard about you abroad, you made your life the way you wanted it to be While I wasted mine away, Why did I let it be.
Why is life so unkind, I feel like I'm really losing my mind.
Why cant I forget you? Did I walk away from the love of my life? Was I such a fool? Is this the way I wanted to spend the rest of my life?
I'm back on my feet again I told myself with a sigh, Now its time to let you go and finally say Goodbye.
GRANDMA
What my Grandma means to me
A loving heart for all to see
You gave me strength, You were Always there, Someone who understood me and always Cared.
You taught me how to laugh and Live, To be kind and always forgive.
Sometimes I see yourself in me, just with you gone wish this wasnt the way it was meant to be.
I Love You Dearly is what I most want to say
You meant the World to me,
Always in my Heart
for All Eternity!

I cant Believe
I've lost you again
you made your decision
and put Us to an end.
What I didn"t expect
has come too fast
I guess we had our differences
and knew it wouldnt last
What made me happy
was to see you smile
and now that you're gone
it will take me a while
Though you're not mine
I still long to see your face
It's so hard to believe
it seems so out of place
To say I'm not sad
well it's all a big lie
because when I say I'm happy
I'm really wanting to cry.
I'm sure that you're happy
now that you're free
no more holding you back
just because of me
You no longer wanted to be friends
No matter what I say or do
but please never forget
I will always love you!

Deep in Everyone's Heart
there is a Treasured Place saved only for that special person,and I now have that place filled. You give me Great Happiness, A Happiness I will never take for granted, because I feel it only when I'm with you, You bring me Joy and Laughter, and in your own special way just through the simplicity of being you, You enrich my life and fill my Heart with Peace.
For all of this I Thank You, and tell you that I'm so very glad that the Treasured Place in my Heart was meant just for you!
A SPECIAL FOREVER FRIENDSHIP
Sometimes in life you find that Special friend
Someone who changes your life
just by being part of it,
Someone who makes you laugh
until you cant stop;
Someone who makes you believe
that there really is good in the world
Someone that convinces you
that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it;
This is a Special Forever Friendship.
When youre down
and the world seems so dark and empty
Your Special friend lifts you up in spirit
and makes that dark and empty world
suddenly seems bright and full.
Your Special Friend gets you through
the hard times, the sad times, and the confused times.
If you lose your way Your Special Friend is there to guide you and cheer you on;
and holds your hand and tells you everything is
going to be Ok,
And if youre as lucky as I was to find that Special Friend you will feel happy and complete, because you need not to worry, because you'll have a Special Forever Friendship for life,
and "Forever" has no end.
A LAST....
For everything there must come a last.
A last minute, a last hour, a last month, day, or year.
A last drink, a last coke, a last tequila, scotch, or beer.
A last love, a last heart, a last kiss, hug, or rage...
Or even the last words written on a page.
But the worst last thing is your last breath
because what is to follow will surely be your death
MEMORIES OF THE PAST
I once thought I was in Love, Now I'm in Misery,
My heart is broke,my life is turned upside down and it dont even matter to me.
I have No friends, I guess I never really did, even growing up in my younger years I stayed in my room and hid.
Hid from the heartbreaks and drowned my sorrows with the blues, because when it came to Love all I did was Lose.I wasnt hurting anyone as far as I could see; I had only myself, No-one else was there for me.
I've been used and abused and it still haunts me to this day, Could things have been different? Could there have been any other way?
The bad memories of my past are in my head constantly, I try to drown them out, it doesnt do any good, Why cant they just let me be! I hurt so bad the emptiness is tearing me in two, and I cant talk about it, because it hurts more when I try to.
The Heartbreaks, the sorrow, the emptiness, the lonliness, the pain and hurt is my lifes story, Everytime someone came into my life they walked away with a piece of my heart and the greatest fear is it happening again because then I'll have No heart at all.
