My Poems III

It is about midnight
as I turn out the light.
I close my eyes,
but all I can see is you.
Why do I feel this way?

I held onto the tears,
when you left.
You didn't see them,
as I wept.

I don't know how long
I can go on like this
pretending that my world didn't end
When it's you that I miss.

It's hard to hold back the tears
overflowing in my heart
But it gets harder to stop them at night
when my control falls apart.

I look out the window,
nothing but darkness I see
But that is nothing
compared to the emptiness
within me.


I THINK OF YOU..

I think of you everyday
And I try to wipe the tears away
I never thought I would feel this way.
I wish I could say that I don't care
I still Cant believe youre no longer here
A man like you is very rare.
I wish you were here right by my side
Touching me, holding me, making all my pain subside.
You left so quickly, without leaving a trace
I'm only left with an image of your face.
My body aches without your touch
The love you gave is missed so much
I wish things could go back to how they use to be
We were happy together, and both filled with glee.
Regardless of the outcome, I just want you to know
I'll cherish the memories that you've given me so,
I love you, and you'll always have a place in my heart,Remember that, whether were near or miles and miles apart.
I'll leave you with this, along with a kiss
Praying you'll remember these days and all of our Heavenly bliss.

WHAT HAPPENED.....
You touched my heart the day I met you
But I realized you did not love me too
I realized this love would not last
All my heart turnrd into cast
You hurt my heart
You tore it apart
You were my one and only
But what you did made me lonely
Day by day I think about that day you broke my heart
Then all my sadness began to start
Baby, if you only knew
My love for you was true
You didn't even try to see inside of me
Now we can never see
What could have happened between you and me.



WHEN I TALK TO YOU..

Whenever I talk to you
it makes me smile
I could talk to you forever
to be with you would even be better.
I wish you werent so far away
but yet when we talk I feel so close
I love you with all my heart and soul.
No one else compares to you
You make me happy, you make me smile,
All I want to say is I Love You.
I could say that to you for the rest of my life
my feelings for you would never change,
They grow stronger everyday
When I talk to you
I sometimes want to cry or even die
because your not here
I miss you so much
I need you here
I want to feel your touch
and your kiss I want to taste
I want to feel your heartbeat next to mine
but guess I'll keep missing you over time.

Saying good-bye was hard to do.
